I feel like I need a jump start! The theory behind a cheat day is made up of 2 main ideas: 1 is that it helps you look forward to something through out the tough week of eating super clean. 2 is that it tricks your body when you eat a high caloric fatty diet for a day and then eat super clean the next several, it is supposed to help jump start your metabolism and what not... my husband could elaborate. But, I don't feel like the pizza, donuts, and strawberry lemonade did ANYTHING for me! I know it has only been 1.5 days back on the Healthy train...but I'm not feeling like I'm burning off much of anything. Working out would probably help....hummm....

So far the weight seems to be coming off, but not without effort! In fact... I MIGHT be able to fit in a quick work out right NOW! Here I go.... Burnin' calories!

So today is our first day in our efforts to get fit and healthy! So far, I have stayed on track- but the first day is always challenging! Like I said, I am an emotional eater. So today, like many days, my kiddos aren't being "easy." Well, Jaeda has actually done fine, but Kobie is tired and has hardly slept- which makes for a lot of holding, cuddling and walking. Don't get me wrong, I love snuggling with my baby girls- but its mentally and physically draining to care for a 'needy' baby (especially when my sleep tank is on empty!) So when I get stressed out- I JUST CRAAAVE SWEETS! Oh how many times I have walked by the candy dish at my parents (baby in arms) and just had to hold myself back!!!... Okay, time to give Nana a break from walking with Kobie...more updates later.
